1. Former Punjab Chief Minister Surjit Singh Barnala,passed away. He was 91.

2. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has entered into a Bilateral Advance Pricing Agreement on the with Indian subsidiary of a Japanese trading company.

3. Britain's star tennis player, Johanna Konta defeated Agnieszka Radwanska to win WTA Apia International in Sydney.
